On Mini Vacations/Planned Trips/New Products/Freebies/Newsletters
On Mini Vacations:
So this past weekend we went away just from Thursday to today (I'm just now getting back) and it was not as relaxing as I was hoping it would be. Dh wanted to go here and there and everywhere, trying to do all the resort activities, going swimming, playing various games...I just wasn't in the mood for any of that. My main goal on a minivacay is to DO NOTHING lol. If i'm going to be away from home for 3 days or less, I don't really want to spend that time running all over trying to get into a bunch of different activities...I just want to lay down and relax. I just want to STOP.
However, I did play Uno! with another group of adults - and can I just say how FUN it is to play that with adults that have a healthy spirit of friendly competition? If you've never had a group of adults play Uno! then I personally think you're missing out on a very fun and inexpensive activity. Get a deck of cards, some light finger foods and a few drinks (alcoholic or n/a) and you've got a great night ahead lol.
Of course the girls did lots of swimming, which is always nice for them. Living in Florida, you're afforded the ability to swim nearly year round, and even though this is the beginning of hurricane season, you can't tell by this picture, but trust me, there was no lack of swimmers.

On Planned Trips:
Well, we're thinking of going to NYC for Christmas this year...wish me luck as I go in search of airfare for a family of 4. *sigh*
On New Products/Freebies/Newsletters:
Well this is my first new release in about 2 weeks, and my first kit in Gosh...since Mother's Day I think. Well it's a kit all about being loopey and silly and crazy. If you've got those photos then You need this kit. It's selling at Inspiration Lane, NDISB and Elemental Scraps for $4.oo. You can also snap up the coordinating alpha for $1.00 (right now available at ES only).

I also created this really cute add on to freshen up and brighten the full kit up a bit. Its free to my newsletter subscribers only. If you wan to sign up for the newsletter, you can do so right over there on the side bar and if you do it by Wednesday, you still have time to get the freebie. The newsletter won't go out until later this week.

On Cool Internet Finds:
So...today I clicked on the blog's I follow link of one of yesterday's blogtrain commenters. That led me to a really cool blog of doodles. The coolest thing about this blog is that the doodles and shading all remind me of this show I used to watch when I was a really young kid.
It came on PBS right around the time of the guy that painted the scenery with lots of "happy trees". That guy used that fan brush a lot. Sometimes I think he could make a whole canvas beautiful with the fan brush lol. Anyway. The doodle blog. It's really cool. No updates since February, so I hope the guy (Charles is his name) that does the doodles is okay and will do more soon.
It's the first blog I've ever wanted to 'follow' so I feel pretty cool ;)
You can see it here: The Doodle Blog
ALERT: The PBS show was called The Secret City. I loved it. It was full of these sorts of drawings:

On Store Stuff, Facebook
On Store Stuff:
So...I need to reload all my goods in my ES store and finish getting the goods in my IL store. Not to worry though, I will be working on that for the next little while. It's a chore man, lol a real chore.
On Facebook:
Okay....so is anyone besides me NOT addicted? Dudes....vampire wars, scrabble, flair, hatchlings...what else is more fun online? lol. And keeping up with all my peeps is awesome too. Just....freaking.....awesome. I am way into flair now...making them I mean. I have made one for a friend of mine (Jennifer Phillips) and I made this one for myself (which I'm happy to say people are wearing):
If you happen to have me on facebook feel free to share your flair with me or grab some of mine!!!
FLAIR ON!!!!
So, if you're reading this what's your big draw online? Your time waster/good thing? lol
